ANNOUNCEMENTS:   

• It is Officer Election time for the FOP Lodge again.  The positions that are opening are 2nd Vice President, Sergeant at Arms, 2 Trustee Positions and Treasurer.  Please consider being part of the FOP Board and help the Lodge grow.       ●  This year our Lodge has exhausted our Benevolence funds.  In order to continue our good work in providing for our Brothers and Sisters, as well as funding projects in our community, our Ways and Means Chairman, Joe Hall, is reactivating our Leap Year Benefit Raffle.  The Raffle will take place in February 2008 (which is a Leap Year).  Each day in February has a dollar value placed on it, and the name drawn that day will win that amount.  The name drawn on February 29th will win the Leap Year amount of $100.  PLEASE REMEMBER, that the name (ticket) drawn each day will be RETURNED to the drum for subsequent days drawings.  Therefore each ticket holder, is eligible to win 29 times.  You are asked to support your Lodge by selling these tickets and contact Bro. Joe Hall (828-349-3477) or Bro. John O'Connor (828-342-4056) if you have a need for additional tickets.  Remember that Christmas is coming and these Raffle Tickets make a great Stocking Stuffers.
