| LODGE VOTES TO CHANGE
MEETING DATE
During the monthly meeting on January 21st the lodge voted approval to a new meeting date. The new meeting time will be the fourth Tuesday of each month. The time and location will remain the same. The change was made to let some members who had a 3rd week conflict that prohibited attendance to the meeting. Hopefully, with the change additional persons who would be interested in joining our lodge will now be able to do so. LODGE PROGRAM FOR FEBRUARY Our lodge is pleased to have Sheriff Jimmy Ashe from the Jackson County Sheriff’s office as our guest this month. Sheriff Ashe took office in December, 2002. Let’s have a good turnout and welcome our friend and good neighbor Sheriff Ashe. The meeting is Feb 25th, 2003 @ 7:00 PM DINNER MEETING "HOT DOG SUPPER" Have it your way with Chili, Kraut, Slaw and/or Onion Drinks and Dessert Plan to attend and support our 50/50 drawing

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Above photo has taken on "Charter Night" March 20th, 2002. On March 18th our lodge will celebrate its first anniversary. LODGE MEETING DATES Board meets 2nd Tuesday @ 11:30 AM at the Factory. Monthly Lodge meets 4th Tuesday @ 7:00 PM at Zickgraf Conference Center-at end of ULCO Road. SPRING BOARD MEETING - ASHEVILLE The spring board meeting will be March 28, 29 and 30 in Asheville, NC. Sponsors of this event will be Lodge No. 1. They are also celebrating their 50th Anniversary. The event will take place at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. The Room reservations must be made before February 28th. Room rate is $55.00 per night. For more information ask Mike Langley or Jim Wright for a copy of the notice. There are two persons from the lodge so far who have signed up. JANUARY PROGRAM-CHIEF TERRY BRADLEY We were very pleased to have the Chief of Police, Terry Bradley, join us at our last meeting. Chief Bradley gave us an overview of his background and how his organizational structure is set up. It was a very informative program and we are glad that he was able to take time to visit our lodge. Along with Chief Bradley was Asst Chief Jerry DeHart. Asst Chief DeHart is an FOP member with the Swain County Lodge. Lodge newsletter is printed monthly by Jim Wright.
