JUNE 2007 NEWSLETTER

The June General Membership meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 26th at 7PM. The meeting will take place at the Holly Springs Church Fellowship Hall. At this months meeting we will be awarding two (2) scholarships. The Recipients are Lauren Alexis Alonso and Joshua Wade Reynolds, both seniors at Franklin High School. The Committee received 4 quality applications and did an outstanding job in a tough selection process. Congratulations to Sister Amy Stewart and her committee.

Please plan to attend and wish the awardees well in their endeavors.

Our membership as of 6/18/07 is 158 (127 Active- 6 Affiliate- 25 Associate)

Our Ways & Means Chairman, Brother Joe Hall, would like to announce the start of our Annual Fund Raising Raffle. This year he has obtained 6 prizes—The First, Second & Third prize will be a Pros-Spec Military Watch (Value $80). The Fourth prize will be a Hand Tooled Leather Bible (Value $400). The Fifth prize will be a Charles Daly 12G Semi-automatic Shotgun with 3 Chokes (Value $700). The sixth and Grand prize will be a 62" Flat Screen TV (Value $2100). To help make this years raffle a success, enclosed find 3 raffle books. Your help in selling these 3 books will go a long way to help make this effort a success. The tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.

Also remember that our Lodge will be sponsoring a Circus to be held on August 24 & 25. Your help in this effort would also be appreciated.

The Auxiliary will meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at Holly Springs Fellowship Hall. If any one is interested in joining the Auxiliary please contact Natalie R Whitaker at NATALIE74@smnet.net

Don’t forget that you can make changes regarding address change etc. yourself. Take a minute and review your personal information as it is listed with the National Lodge. If you need help please call me at 349-0698 and I will be happy to walk you though the program

With this mailing, I have attached a form with all the information I have in our Lodge Records about you. PLEASE review this information and correct and/or add as appropriate. Special attention should be given to e-mail addresses, as I use this as the primary vehicle in sending out our monthly newsletter. For every newsletter I send via e-mail it saves the Lodge $4.92/Member annually.

If you would please make any necessary corrections or additions and send them, with your check/cash for your sold raffle tickets, in the enclosed self addressed envelope, both Joe and I will be "forever grateful". If you find that you are unable to sell the enclosed raffle tickets at this time, please return them, in the enclosed self addressed envelope. Also send the corrected information sheet in the same envelope.

The Sheriff’s Office is looking for volunteers to man the front desk. If you have any interest in volunteering please contact Brother Larry Miller @349-2264 or Sgt Eddie Green @349-2575.

Belated Get Well Wishes to Brother John Lynch and his wife Kathleen who have had some recent medical problems.

Condolences to Brother Robbie Holland on the passing of his Step-Father, in Florida.

Thoughts, Prayers And Well Wishes to recuperating Brothers Jim Lau, Larry Miller, Clay Bryson and John Lynch and his wife Kathleen.
