FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE PROJECTS 2007/2008

OCTOBER 31, 2007  Halloween at the Community Center, Franklin, N.C.

Lodge #81 will be giving out candy to the children of the Community.  The Auxiliary Lodge along with two Law Enforcement Officers, Vice Presidents Jim Lau and Larry Mosses will be there. 

NOVEMBER 2007, Election of Officers at the Monthly Lodge Meeting

Lodge 81 Will be holding it Officer Election.  Positions open during this election are 2nd Vice President, Sergeant of Arms, Treasurer and two Trustee's Positions. 

DECEMBER 2007, The Annual Christmas Party.

Lodge 81 will be participating in the Annual Franklin Christmas Day Parade.  Those Brothers and Sisters that are interested in being in the parade contact President Lee Whitaker. 

On December 1st the Lodge #81 will be holding it's Christmas Party.  The cost is $20 per person and it will be at the Mill Creek Country Club.  The Lodge requires 40 people to have this party.  If you are interested please sign up by the next Lodge meeting, make the checks out to the Mill Creek Country Club. 

FEBRUARY 2008,  THE LEAP YEAR RAFFLE BENEFIT BENEVOLENCE FUND

The Raffle will take place in February 2008 (which is a Leap Year).  Each day in February has a dollar value placed on it, and the name drawn that day will win that amount.  The name drawn on February 29th will win the Leap Year amount of $100.  PLEASE REMEMBER, that the name (ticket) drawn each day will be RETURNEDto the drum for subsequent days drawings.  Therefore each ticket holder, is eligible to win 29 times.  You are asked to support your Lodge by selling these tickets.  If additional tickets are needed contact Bro. Joe Hall (828-349-3477 or Bro. John O'Connor (828-342-4056) if you have a need for additional tickets.   Remember that Christmas is coming and these Raffle Tickets make great Stocking Stuffers.
